Job Description
Attend to all electrical maintenance, machine electrical fault, machine assembly work in the plant.
Responsible for carrying machine/equipment/utility electrical start-up & shut down activity/preventive/breakdown maintenance of the machines.
Responsible for power changeover (TANESCO to DG) activity.
Maintain a list of spares required for the machine and to inform maintenance manager in time.
Ensure reduction of downtime hours and target shall be towards zero.
To follow all the machine/tool/electrical part safety requirements.
Ensure approval of work permit before commencing any major work at height, roof, intricate machine area & other risk oriented areas.
Responsible for documentation of daily/weekly breakdown/preventive maintenance & records.
Always adhere to PPE and safety procedures when dealing with Machines, tools & and other electrical equipments.
Assist maintenance manager for carrying out major maintenance on substation, plant wiring, transformer etc.
Responsible for Housekeeping & cleanliness on machine or equipment after work completion & working area to be well maintained.
Qualification: Minimum requirement is FTC (Electrical), Diploma, Degree in Electrical Engineering
